Kyudo No Tabi: Gendaijin Ga Kataru Zen No Satori No Taikendan

Two volumes of accounts of the Zen enlightenment experience were produced by the disciples from the school of Zen master Ryoko Yasutani (d. 1973). Yasutani traveled throughout Japan for many years giving Zen courses. The two volumes contain thirty accounts, some rather extensive. Most are from Buddhist laymen and laywomen who reached the goal of enlightenment under Master Yasutani's direction.

Unfortunately, these volumes have not yet been translated into English nor is there an English summary of the experiences.
